Registration Customer Service Our client is looking to hire a Registration Customer Service Agent. Company will train for this position. The candidate will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for our client's conference attendees via phone and email.

  • Provide heavy customer support by responding to phone calls, emails, and voicemails.

  • Understand each client's registration requirements (training will be provided)

  • Work with various clients using our online registration system (training will be provided)

  • Process registration records - enter, review, edit, and change records as required and to ensure accuracy

  • Managing the flow of forms and prioritizing entry order to maintain expectations

  • Design conference participation lists

  • Help support pre-conference prep

  • Prepare and maintain outgoing educational materials shipments including collation of materials, shipping and tracking of shipments.

  • Maintain inventory lists of supplies for the study kits and promote me kits.

  • Participate in internal meetings and communicate registration status to the Dir of Registration

  • Communicate to co-workers project updates and other important information

  • Possible travel onsite for 3-6 meetings a year

Travel Requirements
Travel throughout the year for up to 10 days per trip. Some travel to take place on evening, weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience

  • College degree or equivalent work experience

  • Strong computer literacy with understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Access a plus.

  • Analytical skills, ability to multitask, and patience are key/required traits

The ideal candidate should be personable and customer service oriented, be able to work independently, be proactive, detailed oriented, have excellent problem solving skills, ensure timely processing of all responsibilities, ability to travel for meetings, work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and have the desire to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Temp HR Assistant Government contract, six month term: Reviewing and processing documentation involved in executing personnel actions, updating employee information in a variety of systems/databases, and managing vacany documents/processes in concert with HR Specialist, work involves:

  • Reviewing a variety of official personnel actions for complex organizational elements with General Schedule and Wage Grade employees in Career-Conditional, Career, Temporary, limited appointments, and Excepted Service appointments. Examining all proposed personnel actions for correct citations of legal authority, effective dates and natures of action. Inputting personnel actions into computer system/databases; reviewing outputs and ensuring corrections as necessary.

  • Scanning and uploading documents into the electronic Official Personnel File (e-OPF), maintaining files, related documents and other personnel documents. Forwarding payroll documents and other materials as required. Maintaining payroll and personnel documents and disposal of the documents in accordance with OPM Records Management Schedule, Federal agency guidelines, and Privacy Act.

  • Exercising responsibility for the uploading of documents and maintenance of electronic Official Personnel Folder (e-OPF) system. Ensuring and verifying that documents are managed, filed, and disposed of IAW the OPM Records Management Schedule, Federal agency guidelines, and Privacy Act.

    Secretary III Maintains complex schedules of meetings, and data libraries of supporting data related to various independent cost analyses produced and submitted in support of MDAPs. The administrative support to the division, supervisors, Deputy Director and analysts to include the following responsibilities:

    • Maintain Calendar and schedules for Deputy Director with Microsoft Outlook

    • Prepare and verify accuracy of trips using Defense Travel System

    • Administrative and Organizational Support

    • Develop and maintain division schedule

    • Collect, Prepare and Post Documents for on-line Storage

    • Event Planning and Management

    Logistics Coordinator Duties:
    • Enter data into conference database, generate reports, and perform mail merges
    • Create and process forms for registration, reimbursement, honoraria, evaluations, invoices, and other forms as needed
    • Process registration payments and submit weekly reports to accounting
    • Conduct cost comparison research for supplies
    • Create, duplicate, and assemble conference/review materials, including name badges, tent cards, signs, packets, and other materials as requested by client
    • Correspond with clients and attendees via phone, email, fax, Federal Express, and U.S. Mail
    • Assist in generation and update of rooming lists
    • Prepare logistical and confirmation letters for clients, attendees, speakers/VIPs, and vendors
    • Work with clients to develop meeting materials
    • Provide onsite support (travel required)
    • Provide other pre- and post-conference support such as copying, filing, mailing, and updating database
    • Arrange travel for sponsored attendees and speakers/VIPs
    • Provide travel information for non-sponsored attendees as necessary
    • Process bills from vendors as necessary
    • Order necessary supplies
    • Maintain an invoice reconciliation spreadsheet tracking all contract "other direct costs"
    Knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Access
    Bilingual Administrative Assistant Bilingual Spanish/English
    Extremely flexible, reliable & outgoing individuals needed to support
    International Organization in Washington DC. Computer skills required. Must type 45+ wpm.
